One of the last big dead zones on lower Euclid Avenue in downtown Cleveland, the John Hartness Brown complex, is set to start renovation "within weeks". AltoPartners, the third developer to undertake the complex, expects this $90 million project to be finished in 2020.
The John Hartness Brown complex, previously in receivership with Mark Dottore and his firm, Dottore Companies, was recently sold to Alto with the goal of bringing jobs and life to the city. Dottore worked tirelessly to ensure the value of the building was preserved during litigation, and successfully preserved tax credits that made the sale possible. (Learn more about this case here).
